What we fit

Deadlocks and deadbolts

Single and double cylinder. Fitted to the standard most home insurers ask for — worth checking your policy, because some require them.

Entrance sets and handles

Front door hardware replaced or upgraded, in finishes that match what’s already on the house.

Sliding door and window locks

The weak point in most Gold Coast houses, and usually the cheapest thing to fix.

Security screen door locks

Replaced or rekeyed. Coastal air is hard on these and they seize more often than people expect.

Repairs

Sticking, stiff or dropped locks. Often an alignment problem rather than a dead lock, and cheaper to fix than replace.

Repair or replace?

A lock that’s hard to turn is often a door that’s moved, not a lock that’s failed. Doors drop, frames swell in humidity, and strikers end up out of line. That’s a twenty-minute adjustment rather than new hardware. We’d rather tell you that than sell you a lock you don’t need.
